OUR BEERS HAVE A GREEN HEART
The bespoke brewery has been built with quality and environmental issues at its foundation. Herdwick sheep’s wool insulation has been used to insulate the tanks. The burner has been built to maximise the heat utilisation and the heat exchanger has been picked to maximise the heat retention, thus reducing energy use.
We have a commitment to minimise our environmental impact and are proud to have been awarded the Green at Heart Gold Award.
We are committed to continuing to reduce our carbon footprint and plastics used in the brewery.

The team at Keswick Brewery recognise their responsibility to manage the environmental impacts of our business. We have assessed our activities and identified that our significant environmental aspects / impacts include energy and water consumption.
We ensure that suppliers and contractors understand the Company Policy and encourage them to develop a responsible approach to environmental issues.
